This car is my baby, my pride and joy. I bought this car in 2003 with
74k miles and now with only 103k -- it was not my daily driver. It was
my weekend car, the showpiece. I added Lots of EXTRAS. Invested in
making this car a real nice ride. Everything that was put on it was put
on professionally. With parts and labor I have about $10k invested.

sound the way it should)

1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
390-4V engine, automatic transmission (true S-Code car from CA).
This car was completely stripped of suspension and paint and interior.
The body was completely redone by ABC Auto Body in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Every bolt, nut, and screw on this car was removed and either
reconditioned or replaced. All new weather stripping and seals were
applied, new grill, some NOS trim, etc. The paint is the original Indian
Fire Red Metallic color and is made by DuPont (basecoat-clear coat). The
paint was applied in spring of 2004.
The complete suspension has been rebuilt, the front has 1” lowering
springs (I have lowering blocks for the back, they were just never
installed). All brakes were new at time of rebuild. The rear-end was
totally rebuilt, and has a Ford Motorsport Traction-Lock unit (the good
one they no longer make).
The complete interior was redone also with new cushions and seat covers
and carpeting. The dash pad is new by Dashes Direct, new door panels,
etc.
The engine was completely rebuilt; you can see the modifications below.
The transmission, while not original, was totally rebuilt. Most people
think of the 390 Ford as a “dog,” that is not the case here. I did
extensive research on how to build a 390 engine to be competitive with
other offerings from GM and Chrysler; I think the only improvements you
might make are aluminum heads or a stroker kit.
THIS CAR CAME EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
· Indian Fire Red Metallic paint
· Air conditioning
· Tinted windows
· Automatic transmission
· 390 four-barrel engine
· 3.00 traction-loc rear axel
· Power steering
· Fold-down rear seat
· Power brakes
· AM radio
· White-wall tires
· Mach 1 package
MODIFICATIONS TO CAR:
· Randal’s Racks rack and pinion conversion
· 2,500 rpm TCI stall converter
· Pro-built C-6 automatic transmission
· Export brace
· Monte Carlo bar (quick release style)
· 3.50 rear gears
· Under-ride traction bars (Shelby style)
· Aluminized exhaust and stainless steel mufflers
· Upgraded insulation
· B.F. Goodrich G-Force T/A radial tires
· American Racing Hopster wheels and billet spinners
· Sequential turn signals
· Four-core radiator with dual electric fans
· Engine and transmission oil coolers (oil cooler has its own 10” fan)
· 1970 Mustang hood locks
· Factory hood scoop made functional
· Classic Auto Air Perfect Fit A/C and heating system (replaces the
original system with more modern components)
INTERIOR:
· The interior of the car has been restored to basically stock with the
addition of a modern stereo and aftermarket gauges.
MODIFICATIONS TO ENGINE:
· Original engine block bored .060 +
· Engine has been balanced
· Comp Cams 280H cam, springs, and lifters
· Forged TRW pistons
· All ARP fasteners
· Melling high-pressure oil pump
· Windage tray
· MSD ignition and MSD Pro-Billet electronic distributor
· C6AE-R 1966 390 GT heads with 428CJ size stainless valves and hardened
seats
· 428CJ exhaust manifolds
· Open element air cleaner
· Holley 750 carburetor
· Performer RPM intake
· Canton Racing t-pan (road-race style with several trap doors)
I would consider a partial trade of a 64-70 Mustang convertible,
preferably rust-free and in drivable condition.
Thank you,
