2008
will be remembered as the day of the Hurricane Ike windstorm in Columbus.
To say the least, it started out as a nice day, and ended with most of
us running for our vehicles and the safety of home. We were just able to
get the awards out when 70mph winds came and stayed until late in the
evening.
Most of Columbus was without power for several days, many waiting up to a week before power was restored.  The wind is really blowing hard by now. You can see shingles up on the building in the background! 
Not a good hair day for any of
us!
We were still able
to have a good turnout of fine looking Mustangs
